Did you catch the Brooklyn Tweed trunk show at Art of Yarn in October? One of the most talked about items was the Treefolds Hat designed by Jared Flood. Now you can make your own in time for the holidays.
You’ll start by learning two different cast-on methods for the hat, learn the mechanics of cable knitting, and then move into chart reading. Despite its apparent complexity, this hat is made up of only two different cable stitches, and by the end of the project, you might even find yourself cabling without a needle!
Please bring the pattern and the smaller of the recommended needle sizes to the first class (3.0mm DPNs or magic loop), as well as your fingering weight yarn. https://www.ravelry.com/
Yarn choices include Brooklyn Tweed Peerie, Quince & Co. Chickadee, Madeline Tosh Twist Light, and Rosy Green Wool Cheeky or Merino d’Arles.
