Mosaic Shawl Class - Wednesday Morning
Wednesday Morning 9: 30am - 11:30am February 20 + 27, March 6 + 13 + 20
Mosaic knitting is the perfect way to ease into colourwork. The Laurelie shawl creates a beautiful and complex-looking motif by slipping stitches and knitting with only one colour per row. After the mosaic block, the shawl transitions to an easy-to-memorize lace pattern, with either written or charted directions to follow. The gradient appearance requires only 2 skeins of contrasting yarn, and the project is comfortably knitted on 3.75mm needles. Each class will consist of short periods of teaching followed by the opportunity for individual help. Yarn choices will be discussed during the first class.
