Get ready to conquer brioche for once and for all! The Evanescence Shawl by Leela Frankcombe is the natural next step for knitters who have tackled beginner brioche - both successfully and not. Each week, Megan will introduce a new element of brioche which can be practiced and then implemented with this stunning shawl. Topics covered will include: flat-knitted two-colour brioche, increases, decreases, and most importantly, identifying and correcting mistakes. No knitter will be left behind!
Please come to the first class prepared with at least 25m of two contrasting colours of good quality worsted-weight yarn (please leave “inherited” or scrap yarn for another project), one size 5.00mm or 5.5mm circular needle between 24” and 32” in length, and any fingering weight yarn you’d like to audition for your project.
